Jupyter Notebook Magic Commands Cheat Sheet



Markdown cell displays text which can be formatted using markdown language. In order to enter a text which should not be treated as code by Notebook server, it must be first converted as markdown cell either from cell menu or by using keyboard shortcut M while in command mode. In this guide, we'll be using Jupyter notebooks to demonstrate markdown, however note that markdown is not Jupyter specific. Many other services and products use it to allow easy text formatting. NOTE: In our quick guide on how to use Jupyter notebooks, we mentioned that Jupyter allows changing the type of a cell to make it a markdown cell. Cheat Sheet - Jupyter Notebook Keyboard Shortcuts.
