Earlier: Although we knew that the Fighters Pass Vol. 2's first new challenger would be from the ARMS series for three months now, we only recently learned that it will be Min Min that will be joining the roster. She'll be made available tomorrow on June 29, 2020.
If you already own the Fighters Pass Vol. 2, then no additional purchase should be necessary to acquire Min Min. The Fighters Pass Vol. 2 is priced at $29.99. Alternatively, you can buy Min Min individually for $5.99.
Whether you get Min Min via the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 or individually, she comes with her own stage and 18 different songs from the ARMS series. Her stage is called the Spring Stadium.
The 18 songs are the ARMS Grand Prix Official Theme Song (remixed), Spring Stadium, Ramen Bowl (remixed), Ribbon Ring, Ninja College, Mausoleum, Scrapyard, Cinema Deux, Buster Beach, Snake Park, DNA Lab, Sky Arena, Via Dolce, Temple Grounds, Sparring Ring, [NAME REDACTED], Vs. Hedlok, and the ARMS Grand Prix Final Battle.
Min Min is unique in that both her neutral attack and specials function similarly. The special neutral uses her ARM as a punch. Min Min's inclusion has essentially shattered the fan created rule that Spirits are disconfirmed as future DLC. This opens the door for other Spirits that are already in Ultimate. However, the fan created rule for Assist Trophies is still a thing.
Despite the circumstances with the COVID-19 pandemic, Masahiro Sakurai is still asserting that the Fighters Pass Vol. 2's challengers will still be completed. After tomorrow, five mysterious challengers will remain.
